IBNS-NC Chapter 26

The International Bank Note Society was founded in 1961. It operates as a non-profit educational organization and in furtherance of such purpose, its objectives are to promote, stimulate, and advance the study and knowledge of worldwide banknotes and paper currencies and all matters related thereto along educational, scientific and historical lines. Currently IBNS has over 2,000 members in more than 90 countries.

The IBNS North Carolina chapter was formed on March 27, 2014 at Raleigh with six initial members and was designated as Chapter 26.

North Carolina Chapter

Our current members cover a wide array of interests, numismatic experience levels, have lived or are currently living in multiple countries and locations and speak several languages.

We are always looking for new members locally but also accept remote individuals as well as non-IBNS members.

  • We have been video recording our monthly meetings as well as show participation.
  • Members are given access to our Private NC-IBNS YouTube channel. We hope to have live streaming meetings soon.
