federal subject of Russia. The above banknotes were planned to be
issued in 1995-08 for the
Chechen Republic of Ichkeria but they were never put into circulation.
I has been reported that the stocks of the 1995 notes were stored in a bank
in Grozny then were later destroyed by the Russian military. Additional
information is needed on the 1998 notes. |
