BACKGROUNDER/ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Canada P.S633 One Dollar Halifax, Nova Scotia 2.1.1935. The printer was the Canadian Bank Note Company Limited which from 1897 until 1923 was a unit of the New York-based American Bank Note Company. This note uses a Native/Animal, Mining and Shipping theme with the seal on the back indicating it was issued by the Bank of Nova Scotia, incorporated in 1832.
